Whole‑Horse, Welfare‑First Support

We combine behavioural science, positive reinforcement, bodywork, and compassionate coaching to support horses ethically and holistically.

Every horse is treated as an individual, with their mind, body, environment, and emotional wellbeing considered at every stage.

The 5 Stages

1. Initial Consultation

Your journey begins with a detailed, in‑person consultation.

We explore your horse’s history, behaviour, posture, movement, daily routine, and environment.

This includes:

• Behavioural and physical assessment

• Movement and gait analysis

• Hands‑on evaluation

• Discussion of goals, concerns, and context

This stage gives us a clear understanding of what your horse is experiencing and what they need.

---

2. Treatment

With vet consent in place, we begin targeted treatment sessions.

These may include:

• Massage therapy

• Behavioural troubleshooting

• Basic response assessment

• Liaison with your wider care team

The aim is to reduce discomfort, improve movement, and address the behavioural drivers contributing to the issue.

---

3. Plan of Action

Following treatment, we create a tailored rehabilitation plan that may include:

• Management adjustments

• Behaviour modification strategies

• Bodywork recommendations

• Training exercises

• Owner homework (massage techniques, groundwork, R+ skills)

Your plan is practical, achievable, and designed to support long‑term change.

---

4. Regular Check‑Ins

Progress is reviewed regularly to ensure your horse continues to improve.

During check‑ins we:

• Assess how your horse is responding

• Adjust the plan where needed

• Continue training and bodywork

• Build confidence, comfort, and resilience

These sessions help maintain momentum and support consistent progress.
